Catherine, without even knowing it, you helped define the idea, the concept, the (dare we say it) phenomenon that is now .... the SHADBELLY blog.
It's true. Rider. Trainer. Blogger. Rock star. Who else would have the chutzpah to cinch up a bustier and ride a dressage freestyle in a platinum wig for charity? Any fingerless gloved hands in the air, anyone?
And so how perfectly apropos for Catherine to model the Fior da Liso Sara II shirt in white/chili for SHADBELLY. Here's why we love it:
- The trim is vibrant and fun. Seriously, during our photo shoot the sky cleared, birds sang, heads turned. Yes, this blouse was MADE to be worn amongst the flowers at Devon!
- It's perfectly fitted - Fior da Liso shirts feature back darts for a figure-flattering fit. We're all about core strength, right? So stop burying your abs behind a poofy button-down.
- The cut is long - for a leaner, sleeker silhouette that looks great neatly tucked in. Or, if you're one of the lucky few able to successfully pull off "effortlessly chic", try wearing it untucked with a slouchy hat. The rest of us hate you, of course, because our "tousled locks" look like ... we did just roll out of bed.
- And look closely - there are more WAY more buttons on a Fior da Liso than a typical blouse and they're positioned close together to prevent (the dreaded) gaping and the positioning elegantly e.l.o.n.g.a.t.e.s the frame.
Bellissimo, Catherine! You wear it well!
